Featured poojas
Milk + jaggery + flour offering to Naga deities
Noorum Palum (ಪಾಲುಂ ನೂರುಂ | നൂറും പാലും — 'flour and milk') is the keystone Naga offering on Ashlesha (Ayilyam) nakshatra. A paste of rice flour + jaggery + milk is poured over the Naga vigraha — a serene offering to the serpent guardians. Particularly powerful for those observing Sarpa Dosha remedies or seeking the Nagas' blessings for family wellbeing.
Monthly Naga & Subramanya observance on Ashlesha star
Ayilya Pooja (ಆಯಿಲ್ಯಂ ಪೂಜೆ (ಆಶ್ಲೇಷಾ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ) | आयिल्य पूजा) is the formal devotional rite performed on Ashlesha (Ayilyam) nakshatra each month — sacred to the Nagas and to Lord Subramanya. Devotees attend for family prosperity, fertility blessings, and remedies for Sarpa Dosha and Kuja Dosha. The pooja includes archana, dhupam, deeparadhana, and a special prasada offering.
Turmeric abhishekam for Bhagavati / Naga deities
Manjal Abhishekam (ಅರಿಶಿನ ಅಭಿಷೇಕ | हल्दी अभिषेक | മഞ്ഞൾ അഭിഷേകം — 'turmeric abishekam') is the sacred turmeric-paste anointing of the deity, traditionally performed for Bhagavati and the Nagas. The cooling, healing properties of turmeric are offered to the deity with chants — a particularly auspicious abhishekam on Ayilyam day.
An offering of Sankalpa
Twenty-eight years of devotee-led Shrama brought us to this moment. The 17-day Naveekarana Kalasam unfolded 24 May – 8 June 2026; the sacred Pratishta of Sree Ayyappa Swami was performed on Sunday 31 May 2026 at 7:30 AM under Anizham Nakshatram. Your continued Seva sustains the temple's daily worship and the ongoing Kshetra Nirmana journey.
